The cross-border threat screening and supply chain defense DHS Center of Excellence, the Texas Center for Border Economic and Enterprise Development at Texas A&M International, and Texas A&M Transportation Institute invite you to the Land Ports of the Future Workshop.

The objective of this workshop is to gather public and private sector stakeholders with academic centers to identify and work together on challenges that can be solved through research.

About our Centers

The Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense Center of Excellence produces research designed to support operations that improve the flow of goods while enhancing our capacities to detect, assess, and respond to threats and hazards that could adversely impact the people, agriculture, and economies of our nations.

Since 1989, the Texas Center for Border Economic and Enterprise Development at Texas A&M International University has provided leadership, data analysis and visualizations, academic research, community engagement, and support to Texas border communities in their socio-economic development efforts, working with different sectors, including business, education, health care, public administration, energy, and the environment.

For 70 years, the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) has addressed complex transportation challenges and opportunities with innovation, objectivity, and unmatched technical expertise. TTI advises sponsors on efficiency, infrastructure, new technologies, and operational strategies to improve the cross-border freight transportation.
