We are pleased to invite you to attend and participate in the TxDOT 2019 Environmental Conference in Austin, Texas. This year’s conference will consist of a half day general session, and two and a half days of breakout sessions designed to assist you in navigating the environmental process for transportation projects. Pre-registration is recommended and will help us in planning and preparing a better conference. If you pre-register, your name tag and program packet will be ready when you arrive at the hotel.

Payment must be received by 5:00 p.m. (CST), July 15, 2019 in order to receive the reduced early fee.

TTI Event Management & Planning (EM&P) cannot invoice; therefore, payment of the conference registration fee must be received prior to admission to the conference.

For payment processing purposes, the vendor identification number for TTI EM&P is 37277277275000. The federal identification number is 74-2270624.

Please make checks or money orders payable to TTI-ENVR19. EM&P also accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.

Refunds/Cancellations

Requests must be received in writing by EM&P no later than August 9, 2019 at 5:00 pm (CST). The registration will be refunded, less a $50 handling fee. No refunds will be made after this date.

Transfers

Registration fees may be transferred to another name in lieu of requesting a refund. To request a transfer prior to August 30, 2019, please e-mail EM&P at [email protected]. Transfer requests after August 30 will be accepted on-site, at no charge.

Speaker Information

Speakers should register online no later than August 9, 2019.

Note: Speakers must register for the conference even if you only plan to attend your session. We need your information so we can have conference materials ready for you when you arrive.

Hotel Reservations

Accommodations have been arranged at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol, located at 701 E 11th St, Austin, Texas. All hotel reservations must be received by Friday, August 10, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. (CST) or before the room block is sold out. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate of the hotel.

Parking

The conference rate for self-parking is $15/day available for conference attendees, daily and overnight.

Special Activity

For those wishing to participate in the Wednesday evening Congress Street Bat Boat Tour, please purchase a ticket at: http://www.capitalcruises.com/bat-watching/.

Click on: “Book a Bat Cruise or Sunset Tour” in the orange box.
Under “Tour Type” select “Bat Watching Tour”.
Date: Wednesday, September 11, 2019.
Cost: $15.00 per person.

TxDOT will be providing transportation to and from the tour and will have a Texas Master Naturalist giving a discussion on the bats.

Stormwater Field Trip

We will be offering an optional half-day stormwater field trip on Thursday September 12th. Sign-up will be available on-site at the conference and will be limited to the first 25 people. If you plan on participating in the field trip you will need to bring your PPE:

• Steel-toed boots
• Hard Hat
• Safety Shirt or Vest
• Safety Glasses
• Hearing Protection

We will be visiting an active construction site. You will be required to show your PPE prior to boarding the vans. You will not be allowed to go on the field trip if you do not have the proper PPE.
