Workshop A: Low-Speed Autonomous Shuttles
This workshop covers planning, designing, implementing, operating and evaluating low-speed autonomous shuttles. Different contracting and deployment methods are discussed, and current pilots and demonstrations are highlighted. Examples of rider surveys and operational evaluations are presented. On-site demonstrations of low-speed autonomous shuttles are planned during the workshop and the conference.

Workshop B: Transportation Blockchain Applications
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the transportation community to blockchain technology and to discuss recent advances and potential use cases in transportation including mobility, tolling, logistics, and supply chain. This workshop will investigate how this emerging technology could transform mobility, facilitate micropayments, revolutionize cybersecurity and insurance, and enable trusted M2M communications without requiring a trusted third party.

The workshop will include presentations from leading experts in the cross section of blockchain and mobility and provide an open forum for participants to discuss future opportunities and implementation issues and challenges. The expected outcome of this session will be a list of research needs and opportunities.
