FAQs

  • Where is TTI Day 2022?
The event will be at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center.

  • What time does TTI Day start?
Name badge pick-up starts at 9:30 a.m. at the hotel.

  • Can I pick up my name badge early?
YES! Name badges will be available for pick up in the lobby of the TTI HQ building 2-4 p.m. on Monday, May 2.

  • What about lunch?
We will have a hot lunch. We heard your feedback—TTI people hate sandwiches! Ok, we’ll have yummy hot food.

  • What about parking?
The closest parking to the event is in the Gene Stallings Garage. If you have a UB Plus permit, you can park for free. If you have a UB permit, you can park in a nearby surface lot. If you don’t have a UB permit—there are several options.

    1. Carpool with your friends!
    2. Take the Texas A&M Transportation Services bus from RELLIS Campus. That’s what all the cool kids did in 2019!
    3. Park in Gene Stallings garage. Pull a white visitor ticket when you arrive. While at TTI Day, get a green chaser ticket. When you depart the garage, insert the white ticket and then the green ticket. The gate will open. If you have any difficulty, push the information button.
  • Can I get one of those fun ribbons for my nametag this year?
Yes! Due to popular demand, extra “Awesome-sauce,” “Cray-Cray,” “Curmudgeon,” “Goober,” and “I see no reason to act my age” ribbons will be available this year.

  • Seriously, do I really have to register?
Yes! Everybody needs to register for TTI Day if they are going to attend. We only order food for the number of people who register!

It will take you less than 1 minute to complete, even if you have an AOL dial-up internet connection.

If you don’t register, you’ll have to wear a hand-written name tag and get in the lunch line last. You might find that there is only wilted salad and cold green beans left when you get to the buffet. So—just register!

  • What else do I need to know?
Wow—you read to the very end! That’s great! People who actually read this far should be rewarded! The first 10 people who send an email to [email protected] with the best thing about working at TTI will win a fabulous prize package that may, or may not, include a new car. (BUT—you still need to register, too!) — All our fabulous prize packages are now gone! Thanks to everyone who shared their favorite thing about working at TTI.
